Aquaculture - Part One (Aquaculture of Aquatic Organisms)

For his livelihood, and space a fundamental aspect of his life, and a source since man first connected to this land, the sea has formed a cornerstone of his knowledge and experience. And in the United Arab Emirates in general and the Emirate of Sharjah in particular, the sea has never been merely a natural resource, but has remained a partner in its formation, a part of the cultural and environmental identity. In this context, this book comes to shed a light on one of the most prominent components of this sea: local fish that have always been present in people's lives, from the shore to the market, and from the net to the table.
